The results of our first decoy auction in 2009 and last auction in 2008 were a little below estimate, but prices continue to compare favorably with those realized in the real estate market and for other collectibles in the general antique market.

Buyers at the April sale proceeded somewhat cautiously, but by the second day gained some confidence, bidding within estimate driving the bottom line to over 2 million dollars.

Combined with the fact that the stock market has experienced somewhat of a turn around, and we seem to be experiencing a positive movement in the overall consumer confidence level, we expect that this will bode well for decoy prices in the coming years.
